SCHEDULE:

• Day Shift hours are 7:00am – 5:40pm
• Night Shift hours are 7:30pm – 6:10am
• During training you work 5 shifts that are 8 hours a day
• Once training is completed you will work 4 shifts that are 10 hours a day
• Picking up overtime shifts is allowed and encouraged.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
• Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
• Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
• Spend 10 hours a day working on your feet on the ergonomically enhanced BMW assembly line
• Cleans and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
• Conduct quality control checks periodically

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Critical thinking, problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Stand and/or move at a fast pace for up to 10 to 12 hours a day
• Bend, squat, reach, lift, and stoop repeatedly throughout the course of a 10 hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to discern written and oral instructions and communication
• Must be able to exchange accurate information written and orally

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year assembly/manufacturing experience
• Experience working in other production roles is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
